The IQAC (Internal Quality Assurance Cell) of Sree Krishna College functions under the leadership of Dr. P.S. Vijoy ,Dept of Physics. It is the prime co-ordinating body of all activities, academic as well as extra-curricular, undertaken by the various departments of the college . The Principal Prof. Jayaprasad is the chairman and Dr. P.S. Vijoy Dept of Physics is the co-ordinator of the committee. Under their able leadership as well as that of Dr. G. Jayakrishnan (Former IQAC co - ordinator and HOD, Deparment of Botany) the college obtained re - accreditation with ''A'' Grade from NAAC. It is part of the institution’s system working towards the realization of the goals of quality enhancement and sustenance . It channelizes the efforts and measures of the institution towards promoting holistic academic excellence....

PRINCIPAL'S DESK

Sri. D. Jayaprasad,( Principal)- It is with extreme sense of satisfaction that I share with all benefactors and stake holders of this esteemed institution, my thoughts on its steady march into future glory. The college had its inception in 1964 as the fulfillment of the long cherished dream of the local people, to have a centre of higher education in Guruvayur, which lacked a college for both men and women. The college has developed over the years into a first grade college with 5 P.G. Course and 12 U.G. courses & research centre. The college is marching forward in tune with the well appreciated mission and vision that wishes to see students come out meaningfully empowered and faculty chiselled to still better glitter. Infrastructural development of the college is in progress at an enviable pace and efforts are on to make Sree Krishna College, one of the best equipped institutions in the state. The faculty of the college are highly respected in their respective disciplines with most of them holding doctoral degrees and post doctoral experience. Our Administrative staff is always very helpful and without them, we sincerely feel that whatever we have achieved would not have been possible. It is my pleasure to refer to the achievements we have garnered in academic, sports and cultural areas. We have achievements that comprise a long list of University toppers and eminent alumni who have made a mark in almost all social spheres. One of the cherished dreams of the college is to perpetuate a sports culture and we can proudly showcase our success in the form of international and national achievers in diverse sporting realms. Cultural activities are on the upswing and D zone inter collegiate championships have become a routine feature year after year. We also make serious contribution towards community around and the students of the college with the backing of their mentors serve the people of the village by conducting health surveys and literacy campaigns. We look forward to more productive academic activities in future and solicit the continued cooperation of all well wishers of the institution.
